Pinay will go to Zamboanga to represent NCR to National Theater Festival.

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCAA), National Commitee on Dramatic Arts through the Association of Creative Performing Artists of Zamboanga Inc.(ACPAC), Western Mindanao State University(WMSU) and the local government will host the second National University Theatre festival dubbed as "Tanghal 2" on February 19 to 23 2008. For the first time, the venue will be at the WMSU gym, Zamboanga City.

As time passes by, these rules became the way of lives of the Pekto residents until one day, Pinay’s sister Juana returned from the outside helping them to open their eyes to realities without hiding from their imperfection.

Baranggay Pekto is written by Ria Torrente and Corin Arenas with additional lines and concept by Dulaang Pinay. Stage Design by Czarine Buenaventura and Bobot Lota. Direction by Faythe Santiago with the guidance and Music direction of Bobet Mendoza.

sharing dreams and passion

ria, opa, jha and I shared about dreams and about passion to the youth of kaingin I. Everybody was inspired to dream and reach for it through passion. Madami sa kanila ang walang tiwala sa kanilang sarili because of poverty pero na break yun dahil sa workshop na to :) They ask for another set of manuals for them to share the topic to their friends and families. nakakatuwa. I hope everybody would be able to get what they want for their future! :)

discipling myself

i understand that i am a G12 leader. And one of my 12 is myself. I am now pondering and reflecting on the book of proverbs and it gave me realizations on how i lived my life last year -lack of discipline. And im happy that i am learning to appreciate small ways and discipline. although i am trained to see and dream for big things, i am now appreciating little things. And i am happy for that. kaya minsan pag may mali, like kung late na naman ako, kahit anong reason, pinagagalitan ko ang sarili ko.

mission impossible

am reading the book of proverbs. and as i read the first few chapters, i realized that i have another life mission. To change myself. ang dami ko pang kulang at dapat ayusin sa sarili ko :) proverbs is teaching me how to make life work. how to live a righteous life. to love little things. to change little ways. to find and embrace WISDOM. sana makuha ko yun. kasi sobrang ang dami ko pang dapat ayusin sa life ko. kaya pala sabi ni God, we all must dream of perfection although nobody is perfect... that is living a rigteous life. Ang sobrang laki ng mission ko...myself :) God help me.

making history

Kung last year i concentrated more on theater, this year i will concentrate more on the G12 vision. Just had our conference entitled "Moving to the Next Level" at Dasmarinaz Cavite held last January 3-5 at Jabez Cavite. I coordinated the whole program with ofcourse my creative team in the church. Special thanks to Jem Santiago, galing talaga mag emcee. The pastors and leaders enjoyed the team building challenges and great messages from great speakers like Dr. Eli Javier, Rev. Oriel Ballano and Rev. Pabs Dionisio with our very own Rev. Leleng Ilmedo and Rev. Manny Santiago.

The whole conference was a success! Everybody participated! Everybody was on fire! Congratulations to the Benchmark group who won first place! Ang galing ninyo! My dad was really a catalyst!

This year, We will rejoice because we know that God has something great for us. No one can stop us from fulfilling the great commission. Specifity. Move to the Next Level. Dream. Go to the Mountain and Fear the Lord. We will make history!
