Entering the Vision

“Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and teach them to do everything I have told you. I will be with you always, even until the end of the world”

Adik. Excited. Uhaw. Lasing.

I dont know how to start this entry. I just wanted to express the joy that finally Faythe Santiago already saw the POWER of the vision God has given through the Government of 12. Last 2006, i was priveleged to go to singapore with my parents to catch the G12 Vision, I was blessed having been heard Pastor Lawrence Khong and Pastor Cesar Castellano share with power what God has been doing in their church and how they wer able to transform thousands of people all over the world. Everybody was caught by the vision. But to tell you honestly, with all those wow testimonies, I chose not to do God's will in my life. For two years, I've been battling over myself. I chose not to give GOD my all. I chose to close my eyes and not to see the Vision because I'm too bombarded with what the world has to offer secifically my own theater plans.

This 2008, God assigned me to lead the youth ministry in the church. He wants me to choose and concentrate on 12 people (and thousands will come later). I know Great multiplication will take place after these have been established.

God has promised to Abraham that He will make his name great and He will make Abraham’s descendants as numerous as the stars. The great commission and purpose God has given to us Christians is very clear, to go and make disciples. And in doing so, we are destined to multiply and make disciples as numerous as the stars. This means, seeing thousands of people worship and embrace not RELIGION, but an ultimate relationship with God.

As Pastor Oriel said last thursday "To achieve something siignificant, you must do something difficult" I am still in the difficult business of renewing and changing myself. I admit that I am a sinner. I did a lot of sinful ways that are not pleasing in the eyes of God. I admit that I still want to be successful in my career especially that i am a graduating student this march. But am beginning to see myself dying and letting Jesus rule over my life.

Concentrating on 12 people is something significant but difficult. 12 people. 12 different stories, 12 different lives,12 different characters, 12 different situations.... 12 people, 12 different people. But i believe it is a challenge on my part to do what Jesus did. To inspire, to motivate, to change, to lead 12 people that will do the same and in return change the course of our history.

Change

Isa ako sa pioneer ng isang bagong theater group sa miriam college and my moderator is an activist. As i have observed him, he wants change. He wants to change the country. The group wants to change the country. Pero i heard a pastor preach last thursday and activist din siya dati and iniwan niya ang trabaho niya kasi he realized something..........Shouting for change is meaningless. We need to stand up and change ourselves first.

The real point here is that people want to CHANGE the country but they cannot change themselves. Napansin ko lang, these people who shouts change sa mga welga, these people who shouts "pabagsakin si at si" they are the same people who SMOKE and DRINK. They are the same people na naggd-drugs, sira ang pamilya, sira ang relasyon sa Diyos, sira ang buhay at pag tinanong mo, kamusta ka na? ang sagot "eto buhay pa".

If we want to change the nation, let change come first. The only way to transform our nation is not through passionate ranting but a changed life through Jesus Christ. The heart of the problem is the problem of the HEART. The battle is in the spirit. Matagal na tayong sumisigaw and walang CHANGE na nangyayari, i think we need to do something new this time, LETS try JESUS CHRIST and NOT RELIGION, tignan natin ang resulta!

CAMPUS

If we could change the youth of today, we could change the world tomorrow. I believe that this is the time for Christians to invade the campuses for change. God wants WORLD CHANGERS and i believe this could be achieved through the youth of today who will decide not to FOCUS ON THEMSELVES (selfishness) but will FOCUS ON other people who needs Jesus Christ. Kung makikita lang nila ang pangangailangan, hindi lang sila papasok sa school para MAG-ARAL pero PAPASOK SILA TO WIN PEOPLE FOR CHRIST. TO USE THEIR TALENTS FOR THE EXPANSION OF GOD'S KINGDOM.

NUMBERS

Reaching twelve people. If in turn, each of those twelve reaches twelve more, then you will have a total of 144. If everyone one of those 144 reaches twelve, this translates into 1728. If the rule is applied once again, the result is 20, 736. You want me to go on? Then 200,000 indivuduals with a changed heart and with a fire to WIN SOULS FOR JESUS CHRIST! May problema pa ba ang ating bansa?

Stop! Ayoko muna magconcentrate sa ganyang kadaming numero, i just need to focus on my 12. Something difficult but something SIGNIFICANT. This is for you God, More than anything else, ito dapat talaga ang trabaho naming LAHAT!
