Give Me the Multitudes!

Before Singapore

Before we went to Singapore, I was reading books and submerged myself in God's words and revelations. Literally, fire is burning inside me. I am so excited seeing that we are getting there despite of the difficulties and challenges ahead of us. "Courageous Leadership" of Bill Hybels inspired me that REALLY! The Church is the hope of the WORLD! And so, I dream together with that book that our church will be a great blessing and that the LEADER is of course much needed in that journey! And I believe that despite of my imperfections, I am called by God to this purpose. I just need to really fix my character and increase my competence. Please help me God. I am a willing instrument.

For the last weeks before our trip, literally, I've been really working hard! After work, I go here and there. God opened a door for us to minister in a community near our church and met 30 plus kids and youth and targeting 200 more youth there! They really need the Lord. I also come with my father every Mondays to a family with more than 15 youth relatives. My three siblings and I went there a while ago straight to our flight from Singapore. I delivered the word. Mitchelle led the Pre-Encounter after the cell and Keeneth led the Worship. Every Wednesdays and Thursdays I meet my boys and girls group. Not only that, I really work hard to teach Pre-Encounters here and there for our Encounter delegates this March.

I have to confess that I am shifting my net of 12 and praying for God to give me a dream team. So I rested from casting the vision for the purpose of “I wanna go out of the cell” drama. God impressed to me that I should not wait for my disciples to do it! They will follow after. And now I really can feel that we are growing slowly but surely!

Fire is really burning.

Give Me the Multitudes Conference!

But during the conference that was led by Apostle Laurence Khong and His Wife together with Cesar Castellanos, the literal, burning passion inside my heart fade away. And with this, I felt a genuine manifestation of God's touch in my life. It was quiet, calm, gentle but POWERFUL. Feelings are not included anymore.

The conference just taught me that if I change, everything will change. God turned my heart of stone into a heart of flesh. We must have a heart that is not attached to anything. We must be able to say to God that we are willing to give Him everything he asks of us! Many Christians do not overcome because they have not died. And so, we have to die and replace our hearts with the heart of God. We must be able to break away with the past, not to dare touch the things in the past! We need to have a heart transplant! Gravacious!

We need to do this and the lights will turn on….

Pastor Claudia on the other hand encouraged us not only for us to have a change of heart but we must know our purpose and calling and that is to shine and reach the stars! We are stars and the jobs of the stars are to shine!

Hay! He gave me a new heart and sweet strategies on how to love the world for Jesus, sweet strategies on how to grow the youth more and how to make an impact in our community (and I will share later how to do that)

Heart Talk with my Sisters and Mama

After the conference, my family except papa with Gladys, Jazel and Kate gathered and shared with each other what we've learned. Then we dismissed to rest. But the Lord moved the four of us, sisters with Mama to talk, a heart to heart exchange.

Before our trip to Singapore, the Lord attacked us with simple circumstances that made us uncomfortable with each other. We became irritated to one another and there were quiet misunderstandings that we all don't know! There was an attacked in the spiritual realm because he knows our great potential when we work together!

So I initiated the talk. Mama was really praying for a heart to heart talk with us and to make the long story short, we had a great time with each other. We asked for forgiveness and made a commitment that for ONE WEEK no negative words shall come out from our mouths!

We decided need to make a revolution inside our home to bring revolution outside! I have great sisters with me, very talented and anointed and I am so blessed to have them with me, serving in the ministry! I pray that God will bless us more so that in turn we could bless others!

Break away with the past and it will start in yourself first and next in your family!

Vision

Now I do not fear because I believe that the Lord has called me to be His minister. So when I decided to resign at my work and gave up my career to a greater career ahead of me, soul business, fear is not in my vocabulary. Yes, we have to minister in the market place (and that’s what I am encouraging my youth to do!) but I also believe that if we have the vision for church growth and penetration, the leader must take a stand to go full time and do the business of God. Why should we fear? We are making a history and doing God’s business is the greatest business one can ever have and I know this is a sure success!

Of course, arts and theater and events run in my blood so I will use this weapon to glorify God soon as I start my own events company called “Paradigm Shift”. But this is my second priority. My first priority is God’s business and he will use my business to make history!

City Harvest Church

After the conference, we visited city harvest church with more than 25,000 members! Grabe! The guest pastor taught us how to have an impact in the community. This confirms Pastor Laurence Khong’s preaching during the conference.

He told us that the church is a revolutionary idea. Often people view us as an organization that is always “against”; against homosexuals, drugs, cigarettes, bad companies, sinners! But Jesus didn’t live that way. In fact He always mingles with them and He just love being with people! Of course to love people doesn’t mean that we have to endorse what they do or live the way they do. To welcome those means just to love them with no strings attached!

That is a why their church has grown really big is that it is a loving and genuine church. In the past they always look for numbers but when they decided not to look at numbers their church has grown exceedingly.

Also, people view us as people who help but with a motive of inviting them to church or at the end of the good deed; we explain to them the salvation and lead them to sinner’s prayer. This is not wrong! This is the great commandment but the motive is wrong. We don’t love them because of the church! We don’t love because we are obliged to do it! We love them because we just love people. Sharing, inspiring and helping.

That is why the church must be and is a revolutionary idea. We don’t just shout for change like the rebels. We don’t just rant for change. We are revolutionist! It means that we shout and do a replacement movement.

I remember I think a month ago, my family and I went to a bar called “Ascend”. Well, don’t laugh at me, but it was my first time to go in there because I’m not a party person. In the past what I love to do is to watch theater plays and interesting productions. Anyway, I observed the people and man I pity them. Well, I don’t know them and judge them, I know they were there for fun but I hope they could do those shouting and dancing for Jesus. So I observed the beat, the place, the lights and everything. I asked myself what do this bar have that keeps the people coming? And instead of having fun, I talked to my dad and pin pointed the things that the bar has and thinking of bringing them to church! “Papa look, we need more moving lights in the church!” etc etc.

You see, we can’t just always be against of everything! We have to offer an alternative! To offer them better than what they’ve enjoyed doing.

So, we really need to make a revolution. Other Christians are waiting for divine appointment from God and after 5 years that divine appointment didn’t come. So they wasted 5 years and didn’t bring anything to the Lord.

So the pastor came up with an idea, a revolutionary idea! The title is “15-munite” revolution. This means that everyday we must do good to people with no strings attached. You know, I am the most unfriendly and most unloving person when I’m not in church. Christians act like me. We are just being friendly if we have a harvest event that requires a friend to come. But I realized that winning souls is loving souls! Eventually we would be able to bring them to church. Because they know how much we care!

Why don’t we help an old lady with her things as she crosses the road? Why don’t we greet a man with a nice shoes and start the conversation in there. There are a lot of ways that we can help and bring a smile to other people!

Sometimes, church is the most unproductive organization in the community. Not even one knows that they are a church! We must work right! And I believe that the church is the hope of the world when it is working right!

I am just so excited!

I pray that my young people will be the most friendly and lovable person in their workplace and in the community! And eventually the church will grow because of these loving people.

I am just excited to win and love people!

Overall

I will change because if I change everything will change and I will shine like the stars in the heavens! I will love people. I will grow the church! Thanks for putting this into my heart.
